Hi Friends,

	On June 26th I&rsquo;ll be participating in the <a href="http://walk.ata.org">Jack Vernon Walk to Silence Tinnitus</a> &ndash; a fundraising walk for the American Tinnitus Association (ATA).&nbsp; This is the second year of the event, and it is an important way for me to help ATA try to silence tinnitus forever.&nbsp; You can find out more at <a href="http://walk.ata.org">walk.ata.org</a>. 
	 
	What is tinnitus, you ask?&nbsp; Great question!&nbsp; Tinnitus is most commonly known as &ldquo;ringing in the ears,&rdquo; but that doesn&rsquo;t do justice to the problem.&nbsp; Many of you may have had this sensation, perhaps after a concert or other loud event, or maybe from loud noises at work, or even from a head or neck injury!&nbsp; But for millions of Americans, tinnitus never goes away and it shatters their lives, making every day a challenge.&nbsp; One of the great things that ATA does is provide research grants to scientists working on cures for tinnitus.&nbsp; For that reason, I am trying to raise as much money as possible for ATA.

	I would like to ask you to support me in the <a href="http://walk.ata.org">Jack Vernon Walk to Silence Tinnitus</a>.&nbsp; For every $50,000 raised ATA is able to fund one research grant for a year.&nbsp; If you can make a gift, any gift, it will help ATA fund as much research as possible.&nbsp; And ATA is a registered non-profit, so your gift is fully tax-deductible!
